River Arts District (RAD) is one of the hottest new locations in the city limits of Asheville. The RAD is not a formal neighborhood but rather a small community surrounding the French Broad River complete with vibrant Arts community and studios, new Greenway system, and New Belgium Brewery. This area is located just west of Downtown Asheville with scattered new construction mixed with original neighborhoods from the early 1900’s.
